The best thing that has happen to me in college

So, I have been in college for almost two months now.  I have experienced so many up and downs over the past couple months that it is hard to narrow it down to the best thing that has happened to me.  I guess the best thing that has happened to me has been gaining more of a respect for how fortunate I was when I was living at home.  I now realize more than ever how awesome of a home life and family I have had my entire life.  The thing that sucks the most is that it took hundreds of miles for it to hit me.
